Deepen your teaching skills and expand your toolkit with Liz’s comprehensive training on the power of props in yoga. Thoughtfully incorporating props into your classes fosters greater accessibility, alignment, and empowerment—helping students build confidence, stay safe, and explore their practice in new ways.
This training blends practice and lecture, equipping you with practical techniques to support a diverse range of students, including those with injuries, mobility challenges, and prenatal needs.
What you will learn:
- Functional Alignment – How props enhance stability and body awareness
- Accessibility & Adaptations – Supporting students with injuries, mobility limitations, and pregnancy
- Chair Yoga – Teaching for all abilities and settings
- Wall as a Prop – Building strength, stability, and proprioception
- Blanket Folding – Maximizing comfort and support
- Creative Prop Use – Incorporating household items when traditional props aren’t available
- Gain 5 CEUs accredited through Yoga Alliance
You’ll also leave with a comprehensive manual that you can use as a foundation to get started and reference back to throughout your journey.

About Liz:
Liz has been practicing Yoga on and off for over thirty years. She completed her Yin Yoga certification program through You Do Yoga in the fall of 2015 and Graduated from the Yoga on High 200hr YTT program in December of 2016. In 2018, she completed her 300hr YTT with Yoga on High with a focus on Therapeutic Yoga. She also holds certifications in eMBER (100 hr Trauma Informed), Pranayama, Restorative, Reiki Level 1 and iRest modalities. And most recently she became a registered "teacher of teachers" with Yoga Alliance, earning her YACEP and is also an e-500hr RYT. Liz loves to read, is a foodie, a traveler and loves long walks on the beach and pigeon pose.
