Meet Amy
My journey with yoga began when I was just 13, when I first discovered yoga and meditation. What started as simple curiosity has grown into a lifelong exploration of the body, mind, and spirit. My practice has given me a sense of awe for the body’s capabilities and a deep appreciation for presence, patience, and embodiment.
I practice yoga because it simply makes sense for my body and mind. I’m drawn to the ongoing exploration and discovery that unfolds on my mat, and I hope to share that experience with all of my students.
My teaching style is slow and intentional, blending simplicity with subtle depth. I invite students to move mindfully, breathe deeply, and connect with their innate wisdom and strength.
Since completing my 200-hour training at Asheville Yoga Center in 2014, I’ve been sharing my love of yoga throughout the Columbus community, creating spaces where students can feel grounded, curious, and fully at home in themselves.

Meet Kara
I’ve been teaching yoga for 8 years and hold RYT-500 and ERYT-200 certifications. I’ve studied with Jason Crandell, Bryan Kest, and David Regelin, and pursued focused training in trauma-informed yoga, myofascial release, injury prevention, meditation, and functional anatomy. As a Naturopathic Health practitioner, I bring a holistic wellness perspective to my teaching.
I absolutely love anatomy, and I’m thrilled to lead the anatomy sessions in our training. In my classes, I create thoughtful, intentional practices designed to help you feel how poses work in your body, with a focus on alignment and safe form so that targeted areas receive the care they need. I’m passionate about helping students understand both the physical and energetic aspects of yoga, while discovering the innate power and resilience we all hold within.
