Reiki is defined as the divine, absolute energy in all living things. The practice of reiki transfers energy from the practitioner to the receiver, activating the natural healing processes of the body and restoring physical and emotional well-being. It is a hands-on healing method by means of channeling this life force energy. Based on the traditional Reiki system created by Hyakuten Inamoto, this training follows the original teachings of Usui- considered by many to be the founder of Reiki - and focuses on healing not only the body, but most importantly, the soul or spirit.Â
What you will learn:
- The history and lineage of Reiki
- The many healing benefits Reiki can offer
- A series of traditional hand positions
- How to be attuned to the Reiki energy
- How create a pome Reiki practice
You’ll also leave with a comprehensive manual that you can use as a foundation to get started and reference back to throughout your journey.
